Data Engineering

Data Engineering

Let’s harness the potential of your data to empower your people and your organization.

Our approach to engineering your data solution begins with two important questions: how do you intend to use your data and what problem do you hope to solve using the data? We are proficient at designing strategies to evolve your data to work for you and help you increase data literacy within your organization. We formulate integrated interventions for collecting, organizing, storing, and visualizing data as well as analyzing and interpreting data with the use of intelligent analytics.

sample Experience

ODIN

IDSI developed ODIN to provide a fully interactive, one-stop, digital resource for ready access to exercise training data.

Customer:

U.S. Army TRADOC G2 Operational Environment Center (OEC)

Scope:

The Operational Environment Data Integration Network (ODIN) is a single resource for the Worldwide Equipment Guide (WEG), training publications, Decisive Action Training Environment (DATE), force structure information, and the Virtual OPFOR Academy (VOA).

With ODIN users can easily create, edit and publish data for training exercises, research reports, briefings, and more.

EXECUTIVE DASHBOARD

IDSI created an interactive, web-based Executive Dashboard for project and curriculum management.

Customer:

U.S. Navy’s Center for Information Warfare Training (CIWT)

Scope:

IDSI developed the CIWT Executive
Dashboard in MS Access to meet customer’s gold disk requirements and performed data storage in a Microsoft SQL database through the National Security Agency’s (NSA) Intelligence Intelink SharePoint Site.

The tool calculates metrics from entered data and generates reports into Adobe PDF documents.

TIMS

TIMS is a web-based capability that emulates real-world message traffic for enhanced training events.

Customer:

U.S. Army TRADOC G2 Operational Environment Center (OEC)

Scope:

IDSI developed the Traffic Integration Messaging System (TIMS) as a digital, web-based capability to help create more complex and rigorous exercises.

TIMS allows users to ingest large volumes of message data and geo-rectify, or “bend,” this data in time and space. Data can be reused from a previous exercise or collected from real-world messages.
