FOUNDATIONAL SKILLS

IDSI performed research to determine the foundational learning skills needed by a Sailor to succeed in the ILE.

Customer:

Naval Education and Training Command (NETC)

Scope:

IDSI identified the essential foundational skills a Sailor requires to be successful in the Integrated Learning Environment (ILE) and the best strategies for developing those skills.

IDSI defined the qualities desired in a lifelong learner and strategies to help those who lack those skills master them.

ITWD WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT

IDSI evaluates competency and training data to help develop strategies for VA IT Workforce Development (ITWD).

Customer:

Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Information Technology (OIT)

Scope:

IDSI examines a variety of training and employee competency data to identify organizational strengths and mission-critical gaps in employees’ technical, leadership, and core competencies.

We analyze trends, identify improving or emerging gaps in the context of organizational shifts, and make targeted recommendations for courses to address those gaps.

VBA TEAS

IDSI provides Training Evaluation And Analysis Services (TEAS) in support of the VBA Office of Talent Management.

Customer:

Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA)

Scope:

IDSI conducts program evaluations to supply the information VBA training elements require to support data driven decision making.

This includes developing research and evaluation plans; collecting, analyzing, and reporting on large amounts of data; producing research and evaluation reports; and providing consultation for VBA training leaders.
